It had been speculated for a while, but on Saturday 6 July the selection was officially confirmed by the Belgian Olympic and Interfederal Committee. Gilles Thomas and the 10-year-old stallion will be part of the Belgian show jumping team at the Paris Olympics.

From a young age, I have always dreamed of the Olympic Games. Today, I can say that my dream will come true at the beginning of August. Together with my partner Ermitage Kalone, we will do our best to represent Belgium as well as possible.
